Venosta
Semi-hard cheese
The "Venosta" is encased in a tight, straw-colored rind. The cheese dough is a deep yellow and has the occasional pea-sized holes. The consistency in the palate is smooth and melting. Smell and taste of the cheese is very intense and complex. Additionally, there are light fruity aromas and notes of grass and hay. The aftertaste of the cheese is quite strong. The complex flavors remain on the palate for some time.
