King of the Dolomites
Semi-hard cheese
As its name explains, the "King of the Dolomites" is an exquisite pleasure, in which the best South Tyrolean alpine milk and traditional cheese-making craft are united. The cheese is wrapped in a firm, lightly raw rind. The inside is light- to straw-yellow, and has cherry-sized holes. The consistency on the palate is compact, but still soft and smooth. The smell of the cheese is complex and lightly sweet, its nutty spicy aroma and fine honey notes unfolds on the palate in full splendor.
